On Saturday December 8, 2018, from 1 to 5 p.m. come by and meet local published authors at the El Dorado County Placerville Library at 345 Fair Lane in Placerville.

Take advantage of this opportunity to chat with them about the process of writing and publishing a book. Each author will be happy to discuss their books and have signed copies available for sale.

The authors in attendance will be:

  • Geri Bronson with her books The Journey and Memories of a Mouse;

  • Erin Burrell, whose memoir That’s Why You’re Here chronicles a journey from grief to metaphysical awareness;

  • Sharon Darrow, the author of BottleKatz, A Complete Care Guide for Orphan Kittens, and its sequel, Faces of Rescue; Cats, Kittens And Great Danes;

  • Charlene Johnson, author of a series of paranormal romance novels in the Circle of The Red Scorpion, with three books available;

  • Lynda Markham, whose murder mystery is entitled Murder In Costa Rica;

  • Duncan McVean, a local house call veterinarian who has complied a collection of true tales about his experiences with animals and their owners called My Patients Like Treats;

  • Ellen Osborn, author of A Lovely And Comfortable Heritage Lost, a nonfiction history of early El Dorado County;

  • Amy Rogers, author and publisher will have several science thrillers for sale;

  • Norma Jean Thornton, who will have cookbooks illustrated with her original doodle-art; noniedoodle coloring books, and her cat's diary, plus more.  

  • Danna Wilberg, filmmaker, producer and local television host, will have her Grace Simms romance suspense trilogy The Red Chair, The Grey Door, and The Black Dress.
