It was too good to last.
Some of you may know I've been extolling the virtues of Pronoun, an ebook distribution platform, as the best way to get your ebooks for sale on all the major vendors. Their site was fantastic and easy to use, their royalties better than anyone else (including KDP), and I was a huge fan.
It was unclear, however, what Pronoun's business model was. Apparently they didn't have one. They're out of money and Macmillan publishing, the parent company, is shutting it down. So if you're like me and you have books on Pronoun, there will now be the hassle of migrating them (and hopefully their reviews) to other platforms.
